OWNERS
It’s been over 40 years since we moved from the Meriden side of town to establish Riverview Farm. Our oldest daughter, Amy, was just six months old. Large pine had grown in what is now our oldest part of the orchard. There was no view of the river from the house; the dairy barn that had been here since the late 1700s fell in that first winter. Paul and the chainsaw were quite busy for a while.
CREATIVE DIRECTORS, SUPPORT STAFF
Amy, Laura and Aaron remain important members of the Riverview team despite their independent occupations and residing in other states. Amy remains on the farm hosting Dinner in the Orchard and is the driving force behind our wreath classes.
NEW OWNERSHIP 2027
Clay brings 24 years of service in the U.S. Coast Guard and Carma has spent decades working in her family’s food service business-so hard work is nothing new to them. While they may not currently be farming, farming is in both of their blood. That, coupled with their enthusiasm, dedication and hands-on mentorship with Paul and Nancy give us every confidence that the farm is in excellent hands. They’re also arriving with their own four legged farm helpers, Lily and Luna.
FARM MANAGER
Mikayla grew up in VT and has worked at Riverview seasonally for seven years but she has taken on a new role as our farm manager and has become integral to the work we do. She and her husband Micah love spending time outside, especially with their pup, Tucker. They also lovingly adopted the stray cat dropped off at the farm last year! We are so excited to have her on board and her enthusiasm for all things agriculture warms our little farmer hearts!
